TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions

**Terms and Conditions of Participation**

1. **General Information**

The Up In Smoke Tour (the “Tour”) organized by Crewsade is not a race or a competitive event. Participants must refrain from competing with one another in any form. Betting or wagering of any kind related to the Tour is strictly prohibited. All participants are required to drive safely, adhering to the traffic laws of each country encountered and showing proper respect to fellow participants and the general public. Reckless driving is not tolerated. If you are found driving unsafely or in violation of applicable laws by the Organizers, their staff, or other participants, you will be removed from the Tour and banned from further participation. By registering for the Tour and submitting your Entry Fee, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or require clarification regarding these terms, please contact the Event Organizers. Should you not agree to any part of these Terms and Conditions, we advise against participating in the Tour.

2. **Age Requirement**

Participants must be 18 years of age or older on the first day of the Tour to be eligible for entry.

3. **Licenses and Documentation**

A valid and unrestricted driver’s license that is recognized in all countries being visited is mandatory, along with a current passport and any necessary visas. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure they possess the correct documentation required for participation in the Tour.

4. **Insurance Requirements**

Participants must secure and maintain adequate insurance to cover their participation in the Tour and provide proof of such insurance prior to Registration Day, in a form acceptable to the Organizer. Minimum coverage must include:

- Third-party motor liability insurance

- Travel insurance that covers medical expenses and personal liability

Participants must disclose their involvement in the Tour to their insurers. The Organizer will require a signed letter from your insurance provider as proof of coverage, with a template provided by the Organizer. For participants without existing insurance, compulsory coverage can be arranged through the Organizer's recommended Insurance Broker, which will cover the entire route based on standard assessments. Optional additional insurance for vehicle damage and transit can also be taken at the participant’s discretion, subject to underwriting based on vehicle value, age, and driving experience. The Organizer does not arrange insurance and is not regulated for this purpose.

During the Tour, the Organizer may temporarily take control and possession of your vehicle for tasks such as applying decals, transporting, storing, or showcasing your vehicle at designated events.

5. **Entry Fee**

The “Entry Fee” for participating in the Tour consists of two categories: New Participants and Returning Participants. The fee is applied per vehicle with two (2) named participants for the entire Tour. Details regarding the Entry Fee can be provided upon request.

It is important to note that any entries including at least one (1) participant verified by the Organizer as having previously participated in a Crewsade event will be classified as “Returning Participants.” All other entries will be classified as “New Participants.” This classification will be confirmed at the time of invoicing by the Organizer.

The Entry Fee includes participation for you plus one (1) Co-Driver in the same vehicle. Participants are responsible for paying the Entry Fee, as well as any extra fees or penalties incurred, including those for any additional co-drivers in their vehicle. Any unauthorized individuals in a vehicle subjected to an entry verification process will be removed from the Tour.

Participation is confirmed only once the Organizer has received and processed the Entry Fee. Until that time, no places or team numbers are finalized, and any unconfirmed invoiced slots are subject to sale to the waiting list.

6. **Refund Policy**

In the event that you need to withdraw from the Tour, immediate notification to the Organizer is required. You acknowledge that once the Organizer receives your Deposit and Entry Fee, whether in whole or in part, this payment becomes non-refundable. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions for the Tour regarding payment schedules and refund timelines.

The Organizer reserves the right to alter the advertised route at any time. All participants will be notified promptly of any significant changes.
